FELLOWSHIP AND LITERACY ACTIVITIES

for Parents and Children aged birth to 3

Tuesdays year round from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m.

Book Bugs is a fellowship and literacy gathering for parents and their children from birth through age 3. Participants may drop in any time during the Wednesday session.

During the first half hour, children enjoy free play with the many educational toys and manipulatives. A "corralled" area with mats and infant toys is available for children who are not yet walking.

The second half hour is devoted to reading and action songs. Books and songs for each week are centered around an educational theme - counting, colors, transportation, etc. Multiple copies of at least one of the week's books are available so that parents and their children may read along with the leader.

All parents and children are welcome to participate. Stroller parking is available in the front lobby. There is no fee for the program.
