MOLA PAIRS
Molas are hand fashioned sections of the bodices of Kuna women's clothing. Two mola panels make up the front and back of a woman's bodice. The two panels may be either a matched pair or two scenes from nature or a legend. Panels may purchased individually or as they were originally worn, as the pair. When the panels are identical, one image is shown. When there is substantial difference between panels, both are shown. Molas are hand made, one-of-a kind creations. There are no multiples of these items. |
