PALM WEAVING

Saint Luke again offers its annual workshop in Palm Weaving. In a tradition practiced in cultures around the world, palms are woven into crosses which are used in Palm Sunday Processions and placed on the graves of loved ones in the certain hope of the Resurrection. Participants in this series of workshops learn the construction methods for a simple palm cross and then graduate to complex techniques for more elaborate designs. Open to all ages. Special classes for Sunday School children.
