CHRISTMAS ENVIRONMENT

The mystery of Christmas, God and humanity, heaven and earth, joined in the person of the newborn Christ, is expressed through floral contrasts.  In addition to the traditional tropical flowers massed in the winter environment, we see the velvety petals of the Christmas rose against coarse straw and bare branches shining with silver light.  The environment blooms in the dead of winter - God is with us.
