FREE PARKING

Please be sure to use the free garage parking. Parking for all worship services can be found in the Pointe at Greenview Place Parking Structure directly to the north of the Church Building.

The entrance is just west of 1501 W. Melrose Street and is marked with a sign to the left of the driveway into the Parking Structure. Please note: Melrose Street runs one way west at this point. If you’re at the entrance of the Whole Foods parking lot, you’ve gone too far!

All of these parking spaces, at any level, are currently available for our use, even those with “Reserved Parking” signs. Once parked, the entrance path into the Church is clearly marked.

Welcome to Saint Luke

Whether you are visiting for the first time, or are a longtime member, we are blessed to have you with us. As a Reconciling in Christ Congregation, we welcome all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions based on our belief in a radically inclusive Jesus who loved all people regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, economic, social status, or physical abilities. Saint Luke Ministries strives to be a place “Where all are welcomed, period.”

Beloved Community,

On behalf of the congregation, I’m so pleased to extend a warm welcome to you as you come into the Saint Luke sanctuary to celebrate the Feast of Christ’s Resurrection.

On this Holy Day, we join our voices to the voices across time and place singing praise to the Risen Christ, gathering around the sacred scriptures, and sharing in the Eucharist, Christ’s real presence in bread and wine.

You may be a person who has claimed this as your church home for many years, you may be a newer member, or you may be visiting with us for the first time. Our faith community is deeply committed to welcoming newcomers. If this is a place that is new to you, please stop at the back of the church and receive a cup of hospitality and an invitation to let us know more about you.

The Easter message of resurrection hope and peace is lived out through worship and our celebration of beauty, our love for learning, and our commitment to compassionate justice. This is expressed in our neighborhood and in the wider world, knowing that Jesus death and resurrection extend at this corner of Belmont and Greenview into wherever the Gospel is heard and received.

I invite you today, amidst all the challenges and changes in our world, to join in our common work and vocation to love the neighbor wherever you find yourself. May you find Saint Luke a place to return for refreshment and courage.

May you have a most joyous and blessed Easter Day.

Warmly, Brian T. Johnson
