SPECIAL OBSERVANCES AT SAINT LUKE CEMETERY

ALL SAINTS DAY

First Saturday in November

Procession to the Graves

On the Saturday before Saint Luke Church's celebration of All Saints Day, members of the congregation gather at the cemetery to remember those near and dear who have gone before us.  After a brief service in the chapel, the group processes through the cemetery, stopping for prayers at the graves of loved ones for whom prayers are requested.  A lighted candle that will burn for seven days is placed at each of the gravesites.

MEMORIAL DAY

Commemoration and Picnic

.

Music, food and fellowship create a festive atmosphere as members, friends and cemetery staff gather at noon on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend to honor those who fought for our country. A Service of Rememberance recalls the sacrifices of those who served in the armed forces and those who serve and protect in our police, fire and other civic services.
